YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Process Plant Maintenance Planning and Reliability Superintendent, you will be part of the  Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible to champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Ensure the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to all tasks performed;
• Optimizing plant availability and throughput by developing and implementing world class reliability programs ensuring asset reliability and integrity;
• Acting as a technical resource to assist the Process Plant maintenance team with troubleshooting of equipment problems; using various engineering processes to reduce root cause failure analysis, with a focus on defect elimination;
• Overseeing condition monitoring activities related to all process plant equipment;
• Conducting regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
• Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Technologist with exceptional experience in a similar leadership role;
• Professional designation is preferred;
• Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity;
• Minimum of five (5) years experience implementing equipment reliability programs;
• Exposure to project management techniques;
• Knowledge in maintenance best practices;
• Knowledge in common condition monitoring techniques; (Vibration, Oil Analysis, Ultrasonic, etc.);
• Experience in mineral processing specifically with Crushers, SAG and Ball mills, bearings, gears, drives and mechanical seals is an asset;
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership skills;
• Strong business acumen and intermediate level knowledge of PI Vison/Historian and SAP;
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

• Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
