Job Summary:

The individual is responsible for maintaining buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems (interior, exterior, mechanical and electrical) through scheduled projects maintenance and repair with safety, efficiency, and appearance being priorities.

Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $35.02 to $40.17, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

·         Paid vacation and benefits coverage as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement 

Requirements:

·         Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

·         Must have current Electrician Certificate of Qualification (Ontario).

·         Must be a member of Skilled Trades Ontario

·         Must have basic understanding of blueprint reading.

·         Must have basic understanding of computers.

·         Must have HVAC experience

·         Ability to demonstrate leadership skills

·         Project planning experience will be considered an asset

·         Must be able to work safely with minimum supervision

·         Bilingualism an asset.

·         Other duties as assigned.
