$30/hour

LOCATION:

Moosonee, Ontario      

                
Position Summary: The Cree Cultural Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementation of a Cree culture curriculum and supporting school readiness through the Aboriginal Head Start program. He/she shall also assist the teaching staff with daily program routines.

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Cree culture and traditions
• Ability to speak Cree
• Education/training in Early Education
• Experience working in Early Education
• Knowledge of Aboriginal Head Start initiative
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid Food Handler Certification would be an asset
• Valid Ontario Driver's License would be an asset
