Duties:
Working in a Long Term Care, patient focused care environment, the RPN is responsible to work collaboratively with the health care team to coordinate the care needs of residents.  Completes assessments, develops a plan of care, sets goals and implements the plan of care based on the person's health needs and wishes.  Demonstrates an awareness of clinical programs and best practices guidelines and incorporates those into the person's plan of care.  Focuses on high quality care and patient safety.  Applicants may be eligible for the Nursing Graduate Guarantee Program and/or the MOHLTC Tuition Support Program for Nurses.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS
• High quality assessment and nursing skills essential
• Experience in Gerontological Nursing is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with computers, Windows and Microsoft Office programs
• Bilingualism an asset.
