Job Title: Site Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of a wood-chipping facility. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

-         Supervision and aid in the design and construction of a wood chipping and Grinding operation.

-         Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, , loaders, and Grinders  in a safe and efficient manner.

-         Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or potential hazards.

-         Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks.

-         Assist with technical drawings and other technical work as required.

-         Adhere to and write safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to equipment or property.

-         Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate work activities and ensure smooth operations.

-         Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions, defects, or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel and coordinate repair work.

-         Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment storage areas and job sites.

-         Comply with environmental regulations and best practices to minimize the impact of operations on the surrounding area.

Preferred Qualifications:

-         Supervisory Experience

-         Technology diploma relevant or formal training an asset.

-         Experience operating heavy machinery relevant to the job requirements is an asset.

-         Additional certifications or training in heavy equipment operation

-         Proficient in using computer software such as MS Office, CAD, and other relevant software.

-         Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

-         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-         Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
