SKI LIFT OPERATOR – SEASONAL
The Township of Larder Lake is seeking a ski lift operator for the 2026/2027 season.
Ski Hill Hours of Operation:
Wednesday 5pm – 9pm, Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm
Approximate hours/week – 30hrs, October through April
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Load and unload guests safely on the T-bar lift
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect
the safety of our patrons
• Check lift tickets and passes for validations
• Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log
• Maintain an orderly and fair flow of lift riders
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
• Responsible for snow maintenance (i.e., grooming)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all patrons
• Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance
• Recognize incidents that require documentation – fill out appropriate paperwork correctly
• Read and understand Township of Larder Lake policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Maximum Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined – with ability to identify mechanical problems.
- Current working knowledge of Health and Safety Code.
- WHMIS training.
- Standard First Aid CPR
- Valid G driver's license or skidoo license
- Able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Position Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $19.37 to $22.25 per hour.
Salary includes vacation pay with the option to participate in the OMERS Pension Plan.
