​Summer Learning Program Teachers

​Anticipated period of assignment: June 30 - July 22, 2025          

Vacancy Details:    56 hours in total (15 days with 3 hours per day of learning with   students; 7.5 hours prep/marking/communication with families; 3.5 hours of training to occur Monday June 30th )

District School Board Ontario North East is providing a Summer Learning Program for mathematics and language for students in Grade Kindergarten to Grade 6. The program includes the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons through in-person learning in the Central Region and virtual learning board-wide. Learning will take place 3 hours daily. Positions are subject to student registration numbers.

Grade K – 3 Mathematics and Language (English) - 1 Teacher

Grade K - 3 Mathematics and Language (French Immersion) - 1 Teacher

Grade 4 – 6 Mathematics and Language (English) - 1 Teacher

Grade 4 – 6 Mathematics and Language (French Immersion) - 1 Teacher

Virtual Learning (Board-wide):  

Grade K – 3 Mathematics and Language (English) - 1 Teacher

Grade 4 – 6 Mathematics and Language (English) - 1 Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                                                                                                  - Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation                                                                                                                - Primary and/or Junior qualifications                                                                                                                           -FSL qualifications - required (French Immersion positions)                                                                                   - Reading Part 1 qualifications – preferred                                                                                                                  - Special Education qualifications – preferred                                                                                                            - Mathematics qualifications – preferred 

REMUNERATION:                                $58.49/hour
