The Timmins Family Health Team – Third Avenue Site is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work to join our multidisciplinary team as a Clerk/Receptionist. This position will provide clerical, reception to the clinic. The following are the requirements for this position.

Clerk/Receptionist – Full Time (40 hours/week)

Third Avenue Site Physician Employed Position

Educational Requirements:

·       College Diploma in Office/Business Administration or equivalent

       combination of education and relevant experience

·       Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications

·       Knowledge and skill in electronic medical records an asset        

Other Requirements for this position:

·       Fluency in English & French an asset

·       3 to 5 years experience working in a medical community health

setting

·       Previous experience working with a diverse medical client population

an asset

·  Performing reception-related duties -handling telephone calls, booking

    appointments, scanning documents to charts and other clerical

    functions.
