- Understand that a CCA or P.AG. Accreditation is an asset, but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities for this position include
Selling Crop Inputs, primarily grain, forage & oilseeds throughout Ontario
What you’ll do:
This position will be the primary contact with farmers & growers to promote, sell & advise on the products our company provides.
Provide expert advice and strategic agricultural insight to develop ongoing profitable relationships with local producers & producers throughout Ontario. You are knowledgeable in crop inputs, fertilizer, and farm equipment. This position will focus on customer relations while supporting the overall growth, sales, and division profitability.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Working with customers to meet their needs
- Achieving sales targets of all product lines through active account maintenance. Focusing on selling seed grain, forage & oilseeds
- Create and maintain a rigorous weekly call plan designed to meet sales objectives and customer interaction frequency targets.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding and business plan with all customers.
- Continuously increasing knowledge of Agriculture, & Agronomy
Required Education and Experience:
· B.Sc minimum in Agronomy or similar experience
· A minimum of 5 years experience as a sales agronomist in Canada
· Experience with pest identification and management strategies
· Ability to analyze soil samples and provide fertility recommendations.
· Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills
· Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
· Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to achieve results

Additional responsibilities include:
- Customer contact to generate leads and create sales
- Understand local producer needs and offer company products and services to optimize agricultural output
- Promote high-level customer satisfaction and develop relationships through trust, service, and integrity
- Responsible for managing and tracking inventory and bookings, completing invoices
- Provide on-site farm support and delivery of products
