Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $$36.84 to $50.24 as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement

Job Summary:

X-Ray & CT - The DI Technologist is accountable to the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services. Under the direction of a Radiologist he/she performs the procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, with skill, ingenuity, and initiative. Must assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required 

Qualifications

·         Must have active registration with the College of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technologists of Ontario in good standing

·         Previous experience with CT with be considered an asset

·         Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

·         Fluency in both official languages is an asset.

·         Has the physical capacity to perform work, requiring lifting and positioning of equipment and patients according to the BRH lift and transfer policies and the ability to travel distances in the Hospital.

·         Familiar with Microsoft Office software, Expanse and other computer programs as needed.

·         Other duties as assigned
