What you’ll do in the role
· Performs general, routine custodial duties to properly maintain Kunuwanimano’s facilities and grounds by following a Daily Check List.
· Daily Task Log includes cleaning of kitchenettes, staff room, offices, restrooms, agency vehicles, maintaining supplies in supply cabinet, indoor maintenance in the building.
· Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
· Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
· Gathers and empties trash.
· Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
· Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
· Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
· Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
· Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
· Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
· Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
· Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
· Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
· Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table
· Must produce clear Criminal Record Check
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must love what you do, be committed and punctual.
· Able to operate a variety of hand and power equipment in a safe and effective manner.
· Able to perform moderate lifting on a regular basis.
· Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must possess a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
