Responsibilities:

• Patient care: Preparing operatories for dental procedures; assisting the dentist during procedures. Ensuring patients remain calm and comfortable during appointments.
• Record keeping: Updating and maintaining patient records.
• Sterilization: Cleaning and sterilizing operatories after appointments; reprocessing of dental instruments.
• X-rays: Taking x-rays as prescribed by the dentist. (Paid course if not HARP certified)
• Educate patient on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

Requirements:

• Dental assisting background (considered an asset)
• HARP Certified (considered an asset)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Strong attention to detail
