Under the supervision of the mechanic foreman, the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician performs mechanical, pneumatic and electrical maintenance and repair work on heavy vehicles and other mobile equipment in our clients facilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. As a Crane Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of mobile cranes and other lifting equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires electrical and mechanical knowledge with possibility of working at heights.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and aerial work platforms
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude as a crane service technician
- Experience with mobile crane service, inspection and repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
