Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators and bulldozers to complete construction and excavation tasks.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Valid drivers licence.
• Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor when necessary.
