Kitchen Manager – O’Briens Classic Grill
Full-Time | 44 Hours/Week
O’Briens Classic Grill is seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our team. Located in the heart of Kapuskasing, we are a busy, locally owned restaurant known for fresh, high-quality food and a strong team culture.
About the Role
As Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and proper staff management. You will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to maintain a clean, efficient, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance
- Ensure food preparation meets quality and consistency standards
- Monitor inventory, food costs, and kitchen supplies
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Collaborate on menu planning and specials
- Lead by example and support a respectful, efficient kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Position Details
- Full-time, 44 hours per week
