Lead Mechanic
Apitipi Anicinapek Trucking Ltd. works with operating mines and the logging industry in the
vicinity of, and abroad, the Apitipi Anicinapek community. Our mission is to identify, develop

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision and prioritize tasks, troubleshoot and
repair all
necessary equipment in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Road test vehicles/equipment
• Diagnosing and complete repairs
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Document repairs on work orders and complete inspection sheets as required
• Perform major repairs on engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems,
air brakes, transmissions, and all other parts of the apparatus
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• 310T Certificate and Heavy Equipment
• Valid class G driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• Safety certificates an asset
• 1-3 years’ experience
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to manage high stress situations
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Problem solving ability
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Successful Candidates must pass the Pre-Employment “Fit to Work” Program
