Grant Ag is looking to hire a full-time Licensed Mechanic to join the Team in New Liskeard, ON.

This position requires experience in Truck and Trailer Maintenance,

Experience with Farming Equipment with Welding being a great asset, as well.

Hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. Some seasonal overtime will be required.
Pay is dependent on experience.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day Shift

Skills Required for Truck Mechanic:

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport trucks
• Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems.
• Troubleshoot all types of electrical/mechanical issues including brakes & tire rotations
• Preventative maintenance & follow a PM schedule

Skills Required for Mechanic:

• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of  Trucks,  trailers 
• Fabricate and weld
• Repair & Maintenance of farm equipment
• Experience ordering parts

Licenses:

•  Truck & Trailer Certification

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 4 years of hands-on experience
• Must have own toolbox.
• Physical effort and dexterity are required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools.
• Exposure to exhaust, grease, and shop noise.
