Working in the logging industry, we are looking to fill a mechanic position to work in shop and in field.

Job Description

- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on Trucks, Trailers, Heavy-Duty Equipment as well as Pick-up Trucks

- Remove and replace major components

- Troubleshoot hydraulics, engines, transmissions, electronics, etc.

- Perform field work as required

- Welding on minor or major components (as per experience)

- May perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license

- Truck and Coach Technician License is an asset

- Heavy-Duty Mechanic License is an asset

- Welding & Fabrication Technician Certificate is an asset

- Automotive Service Technician Certificate is an asset

 (note that Licensed is an asset and not a requirement)

Location: Hearst, Ontario (shop and field work)

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time,
