Timmins Nissan has an immediate opening for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our dealership. In this key role, you will report to the Parts Manager and be responsible for assisting internal, retail and wholesale customers with all parts related needs.

Responsibilities:

Selling parts to customers over the retail counter, through the service department, over the telephone or by emailProvide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone or emailProvide technicians at the service shop counter with parts accurately and efficiently to ensure they have all the required parts for the repairRetrieve parts from stock if available or by ordering from manufacturer and aftermarket vendorsAssist in parts ordering, stocking, returns and maintaining all parts inventoryReview files regularly to keep track of back orders and return-to-vendor itemsAssist in other areas of Parts Department as required such as shipping and receivingMaintain a safe, clean and organized parts room and area

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an automotive dealership parts department role would be an asset but not requiredPost secondary education an asset or equivalent related experienceProven computer and analytical skills. Experience with PBS invoicing system.Quick learner with a technical/mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of parts inventory Able to prioritize and multi-task effectivelyStrong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skillsExceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectationsValid Ontario Driver’s License

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
