PURPOSE
The purpose of this position to support the efficient operation of the IMDEX warehouse by performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth flow of goods and materials to customers and satellite warehouses. The role is crucial in ensuring that rental fleet items are received, stored and shipped accurately and in a timely matter and that inventory is managed effectively.
Receiving Shipments
•Receive rental tools and kits returning from hire, unpacking, recording, and routing kit components to appropriate storage areas.
•Inspect and verify incoming deliveries from vendors against purchase orders, recording incoming shipment and advising of shipment receipt.
Order Fulfillment:
•Pick and pack outgoing sales and rental orders, assembling kits, containers, and skids, and recording shipment content.
•Determine method of shipping in consideration to prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, customs forms, and/or other required documentation and arrange pick up or delivery.
•Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments as required.
•Accurate records of returned tools and kits.
•Efficient and organized storage of returned items.
•Reduced turnaround time for re-renting equipment.
•Reliable documentation of received goods; assurance of order accuracy and completeness.
•Prompt identification and resolution of discrepancies.
•Accurate and timely order fulfillment.

INSPECTION, TEST & REPAIR
Kit Maintenance:
•Inspect and assess kit components and cases returning from rental for condition and cleanliness.
•Open work orders for gear requiring service and/or repair.
•Clean and refurbish gear and cases, coordinating third party service providers as requir
•Identification of any damage or wear and tear on returned items.
•Assurance that all components are clean and ready for the next rental; reduced risk of sending out faulty or dirty equipment to customers.
•Timely initiation of necessary repairs or maintenance.
•Clear documentation of issues and required actions.
•Improved turnaround time for getting tools back into service.
•Restoration of equipment to optimal condition.
•Efficient coordination with third-party service providers for cleaning and specialized repairs.

STOCK CONTROL
•Maintain manual and computerized record-keeping systems of ingoing and outgoing shipments and inventory
•Report on stock levels for rental kit components: cases, foam inserts and running gear kit parts
•Report any damaged stock or equipment to supervisor
•Conduct stocktakes accurately and efficiently as required.
•Identify, investigate and report any stock variances. • Accurate and up-to-date records of all tool movements in GDR and shipping and receiving logs.
•Good traceability and accountability of gear.
•Quick resolution and replacement of damaged stock
•Reduced risk of stockouts; new and/or refurbished tools, running gear and cases are maintained to fill orders in pipeline.
•Enhanced efficiency in inventory management and reporting.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
•Assist in the planning and execution of daily warehouse operations
•Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
•Maintain adequate levels of shipping, cleaning and shop supplies
•Maintain a clean, neat and organized warehouse and yard to ensure optimal productivity
•Safely dispose of waste including controlled products
•Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods/gear
•Participate in the creation of SWI and work procedures

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
•A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or slightly junior role
•Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Applications
•Accurate data recording and document control
•Good document control
•Excellent phone skills and manners
•Forklift ticket
Desirable
•A minimum of completion of secondary school is required with additional education preferred, with ability to read and comprehend technical data and standard work operating procedures.
•Dangerous Goods license
•Experience utilizing an ERP system.
