WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Role Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator is accountable for the day-to-day operations, coordinating inventory management, and ensuring timely order fulfillment in the Longlac, Ontario warehouse. In addition, they are the main point of contact for all in-person customers, ensuring a memorable shopping experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping/Receiving/Delivery:Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack, and prepare incoming and outgoing products accurately. Ensure proper documentation in the warehouse system and maintain high quality control standards for industrial supplies and bulk oil. Perform inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory of industrial supplies and bulk products by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and reconciling discrepancies. Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly bulk and warehouse inventory counts and investigate discrepancies. Track back orders impacting local warehouse and analyze data to identify trends, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and make recommendations.
Warehouse Optimization and Housekeeping: Organize and maintain the warehouse to maximize storage capacity and ease of access. Utilize shelving, racking systems, and labeling techniques to ensure efficient space utilization and ease of locating products. Perform daily housekeeping and equipment checks to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Front Store Customer Service: Serve walk in customers by answering to inquiries, assisting with product selection, processing sales and taking payment. Follow product return and exchange procedures and examine returned product.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Location: Must live in Longlac, Ontario, or nearby areas. In-person position only; no possibility of working from home or hybrid.
Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm fixed work schedule.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements: Must have the physical capabilities and strength to lift and/ or move items up to 50lbs/ 23 kg.
Experience: Minimum of 2-years of experience working in a similar role in a warehouse environment.
Technology: Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) platform, more specifically Business Central, preferred.
Additional abilities: Strong customer service and communication skills in both English and French (verbal and written). Excellent attention to detail for accurate documentation, inventory tracking, and order preparation. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
