Sensenbrenner Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Department. This position plays a key role in supporting the hospital’s financial operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and invoices. Permanent part-time opportunity (25-30 hours per week) with opportunity for flexible schedule
Salary ranges from $23.84 to $25.50 per hour
Percentage in lieu of benefits

Qualifications
Certificate in Business Administration or Accounting is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is as asset.
Must have strong knowledge of computerized systems are required.
Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Must have the ability to multitask in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
Must have the ability to provide service in French and English.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify invoice details, match purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals before payment.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (EFTs, ACHs, wire transfers).
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and payment documentation.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.
Assist in month-end closing by preparing reports and account reconciliations.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and handle any overdue accounts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Assist with other finance or administrative tasks as needed.
