Chenier Motors Ltd is looking for a licensed Automotive Service Technician(310s).

looking for a Shop Foreman to help lead our progressive team into the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles based on the work orders.
- Collaboration with Parts Department: Work closely with the parts team to order parts for vehicle repairs.
- Parts Storage and Labeling: Properly store and label parts, especially those under warranty or requested by the customer.
- Timely Communication: Notify the service department promptly if additional work is required or if the repairs cannot be completed within the expected timeframe.
- Accurate Documentation: Ensure all relevant information is recorded clearly on repair orders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date by completing manufacturer training.
- Mentoring Apprentices: Assist in training and guiding apprentice technicians within the shop.
- Equipment and Safety: Report defective or malfunctioning equipment and any safety issues to the service manager immediately.
- Customer Vehicle Care: Report any incidents that could affect the appearance or condition of customer vehicles.
- Tool Management: Take responsibility for the dealership’s tools and equipment, returning them in the same condition.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and complete tasks assigned by the manager.
Key requirements include:
- Performing automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Ontario driver’s license (G2 or G)
- 310s Automotive Service Technician certification
- Own tools and steel-toe boots
