We are currently seeking results-oriented Construction Miners to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates local to the site, but we also welcome out-of-town applicants and offer travel assistance, meal allowance, and accommodations to support your transition.

What You’ll Be Doing

·       Performing a wide range of underground construction duties including cement and shotcrete work, service installation, and more.

·       Demonstrated experience with maintenance and installation of crushers, conveyors, grizzlies, chutes, feeders, non-electrical mine services, etc. is considered a strong asset.

·       Applying transferable skills from other construction trades such as carpentry, concrete work, and equipment operation.

·       Supporting welding and fabrication tasks (welding certification is a strong asset).

·       Maintaining an outstanding safety record and contributing to a safety-first culture.

What You Bring

·       Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002 & U0012) or equivalent provincial designation.

·       Specialty Module U0086 in Construction is considered an asset.

·       Minimum of 1–3 years of underground construction experience.

·       Experience in welding and fabrication is considered an asset.

·       Proven commitment to safety and teamwork.

·       Willingness to work at any of the underground mine sites operated by Dumas.
