Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Attendant to join our team. In this key role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing a warm and professional welcome to all guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring that every guest has a seamless and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Manage room reservations, including phone and online bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide information about the motel and local area, and assist with any special requests.
- Process payments, including cash, credit card, and room charges.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Monitor and respond to emails, phone calls, and other communications efficiently.
- Uphold motel policies and procedures, including security measures.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computers and reservation software (training will be provided if necessary).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and professional appearance.
