Job Title: Welding Shop Supervisor

Location: Timmins, On

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

360 Services Inc. is a leading welding and align boring company serving the Northern Ontario mining industry. Committed to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, we are expanding our team and seeking experienced Field Welders to contribute to the success of our mining clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision:

• • Direct and manage daily welding operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Mentor and guide a team of welders, promoting skill development and a collaborative work environment.

• Operational Management:

• • Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain and enforce rigorous quality control and safety protocols.

• Process Improvement:

• • Evaluate and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.

• Maintenance & Safety:

• • Ensure all welding equipment is maintained in top condition, conducting regular inspections and coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Enforce a strict adherence to safety guidelines and lead by example in all operational practices.

• Communication & Reporting:

• • Prepare detailed reports on shop performance, production metrics, and safety compliance for senior management.
  • Act as a liaison between shop floor teams and management, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a welding or fabrication shop environment.
• CWB Supervisor certification
• Solid background in welding processes, equipment, and safety regulations (certifications preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to address challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for balancing professionalism with a dash of humor.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
