Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the successful candidate will serve as a senior leader responsible for managing the planning, building, and by-law functions within the Town of Iroquois Falls.

This position ensures alignment with provincial legislation and municipal policies, overseeing the effective delivery of planning initiatives, building activities, and by-law enforcement, while implementing strategies to foster community development that aligns with environmental, social, and economic goals.

Required education and work experience:
• A minimum of five years of senior management experience is required, generally in a field which provides broad familiarity with related municipal operations.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in planning, building or engineering fields.
• Possession of a professional designation with the Ontario Association of Architects, Ontario Professional Planners Institute, Professional Engineers of Ontario, Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, or a similar organization is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with management practices and principles, municipal operations, and associated legislative requirements.
